This is a public living room, a comfortable place where anyone can come, on good days and bad, to be around people, make connections and enjoy being out of the house. We encourage people to help each other in the space, to “put on the pinny” and help out. So on some days, people might ask you to give them a hand but on others, they’ll help you. That’s what being a Camerado is. We’re all over the country, in all sorts of buildings – libraries, community centres, colleges – and soon we hope to have a manual of how to build your own living room.
